In 2008, I earned a 4.0 GPA during my 600 hours of study at the South Carolina School of Massage and Aesthetics. Heading back to school was prompted by my first Reiki attunement, I had taken the first step of a long and beautiful self healing journey.  Reiki is a Japanese word that roughly translates to universal life energy and focuses on the subtle body, not our physical one.  It is the foundation of all my studies...... I already held a Bachelors of Science in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management from the University of South Carolina, but didn’t feel connected to the work to stay in the industry. It was fun and I made a lot of friends, but it wasn’t fulfilling.  This was when I discovered my being “too sensitive” was actually a gift and I began taking the steps to hone these skills. My massages focus on lengthening chronically shortened muscles from years of patterned movement and bringing a sense of peace and ease to your entire system.
